Six-Word Stories – The Encounter

When sitting around a table with other writers Hemingway was challenged as part of a bet to write a six-word novel. He wrote: “For sale: Baby shoes, never worn.”
He won the bet.

The purpose of Six-Word Stories is to present a short sentence with deep themes. The six word length stories are short, but, project the potential for backstory, climax, and perhaps a future story. If you would like to participate and create your own, simply publish a post on your blog that responds to this prompt.
